Wrapped Leather Family & Symbol Bracelet
Many wonderful things are happening on this wrapped leather bracelet with family and faith entwined beautifully creating this custom piece for a client.
A hand forged artisan closure and square wire crimps are also a part of the design. All sheet metal and wire used is Sterling Silver which is cut, shaped, hammer forged, metal printed, filed, tumbled and then oxidized to create this one of a kind wrapped leather bracelet. This style wraps 3 times around the wrist and is finished with 2 charms by the clasp, one with my signature the other stating the juried PA Wilds status my work carries. He requested also 2 mini pendants one a cross and the other custom formed to symbolize their wedding rings of hugs & kisses and waves. For the wedding piece fine silver clay was used. His request was also to leave as much oxidation on as possible, so I just slightly removed it in some areas to highlight and left it on the bulk of the work. *completed pendant set: 6 hand cut and stamped, riveted, finished and oxidized discs, also then the 6 are wrapped w/ birthstones added along with sterling silver beads to each, a 12 gauge ss charm holder hammered, finished and oxidized, custom fine silver charm created to match wedding ring, ss cross. tumbled for strength & depth. ****This involves lots of conversation between me and the client on font, style, number of children, birthstones, finish, other details like rivets, etc. ****I need at least 3 weeks or more depending on how many extras are added. ****The price was for this work and will be adjusted depending on your commission $320.00 Monogram
